The image shown is an image of the tooth of an extinct mammal called Mammoth. The image is shown on this webpage to educate visitors on how the tooth of a mammoth looked like and how our unhealthy ecological practices has led to the extinction of such a wonderful creature. The reason for choosing this image this image is it shows the perfect view of the molar of the Mammoth because it shows the top view of the tooth, which is the most seen part of the molar and it also shows a little bit of the down part. In accordance to the theory of composition techniques although it does follow the rule of thirds this is the best way to get the best of the tooth therefore taking the picture with this technique is the best. Another technique used is depth of field. This technique was used by me because I wanted to put the focus on only the tooth of the mammoth.
